Forchetta Italian Eatery

Tried out the new Forchetta restaurant, and let me tell you—it was a total gem! From the moment we walked in, the owner welcomed us with genuine warmth, and our server couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. The ambiance is fresh and charming; they’ve given the space a glow-up with a crisp new paint job and twinkling lights that make the place feel both cozy and polished. To kick things off, we ordered the calamari, which was simply perfect. The batter was light and delicate—crispy without being oily—and the squid was tender and fresh. A squeeze of lemon and a dip in the zesty marinara sauce took it to the next level. Next came the star of the show: lobster ravioli with shrimp, bathed in a velvety tomato cream sauce. Each bite was luxurious and packed with flavor. The pasta had that perfect al dente bite, while the lobster and shrimp melted in our mouths. It felt indulgent and well worth it. We couldn’t resist tearing into the warm bread and herby dipping oil between bites—it was simple yet addictive. To finish off our meal, we treated ourselves to cream puffs drenched in a luscious chocolate mousse. The puffs were light and airy, and the mousse was rich without being too heavy—a sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Forchetta is clearly putting love into their food and service. If you’re looking for fresh, elevated Italian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is a must-try. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit!

This place is a gem! My dad and I went for dinner and had an amazing experience! We got bruschetta, chicken parm, homemade gnocchi and gelato. All to die for. The owner and staff were amazing as well! Found my new favorite spot!

We arrived on a busy Sunday night while on vacation in Indian Rocks. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating of our group! We ordered Chicken Marsala, Gnocchi Al Quatro Formaggi, Eggplant Parmesan and Spaghetti Ai Fruti de Mare. All the dishes were 10/10! Ended with Tiramisu for dessert. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! Great staff and service. We will be back! Grazie!

If you are looking for the taste and personality of Italy, here in Largo, this is it. We were in Italy over the summer as a family and the light hearted and warm, patient nature of the people we met there was mirrored by the staff and owners at Forchetta. Henria (I cant remember if that was her name but I think it was) and Igor took such wonderful care of us. We went for my son's 5th birthday. The food was incredible. He, for the first time, ate calamari and loved it. I don't eat calamari but my husband loves the dish in general and said it was excellent. We had Fetuccini marsala, a pepperoni pizza for the kids, and gnochhi that was so delicious and had a great texture. The end of the meal was crowned with the best gellato I have ever tasted. They sand happy birthday to my little guy which made him light up. Thank you Marcello and Henria for a lovely evening. We will be back many times. Oh I also loved the way it was decorated. Simple, minimalistic, and classy. Chef's kiss. ****Update to my original review since you can’t add multiple reviews for the same business: we got take out last night. You never know how that is going to go bringing food home. Still - Forchetta knocked it out of the park. My sons GOBBLED up all the food. The fettuccine Alfredo with salmon, the risotto with shrimp- the calamari- lasagna and two other dishes we got. It was packaged well and made it home with no spills all in tact (THANK YOU for that!) and so yummy even at home. 10/10!

First time there but we went with my sister and brother I law who are regulars. Hidden gem doesn’t come close to covering it. Top notch food, creative but authentic Italian meals, solid wine choices but the staff just made the experience worth going back to regularly. My wife is not even a fan of Italian food and she loved it. We’ll be back.

Finally a good Italian and it’s only 5 Minutes from my house. Amazing food and staff and great cozy feel. You can tell they have experience with their open kitchen great menu and all natural ingredients so you don’t have that bloat from all the other processed chains and garbage out there. Amazing wine list, I got the lobster ravioli and pizza. Last time I got the filet and it was mouth watering material. Will be back again thank you.

The best of the best for sure and for so many reasons, true Italian, not American Italian, family owned, I was so impressed by the thought they put on every detail and the quality of ingredients - dramatically different from any other restaurant in the area. Appetizers, main course and desert impressed us so much, I am still thinking of the gnocchi quatro formaggi, such a delicate combination where in most places it would basically taste like Gorgonzola but here .... Semplicemente dolce ed equilibrato. Complimenti al cuoco and to the amazing team that runs this delightful show.

Incredible experience from start to finish! We started with the special artichoke appetizer (very tender and delicious) and a Caesar salad. The owner was incredibly kind and informative and helped us decide on our entrees. The fettuccine ai porcini and the special tortellini filled with beef and pork were absolutely divine. The whole meal was followed with a delicious cappuccino, homemade pistachio gelato, and tiramisu. I wish I could come back tomorrow! A new fav for sure!
